This little blog got nominated for a ‘Liebster Award’ by Naomi, over at Rising Net Worth – thanks, Naomi!
What’s a Liebster Award?
It’s an online award given to bloggers by other bloggers. Those nominated, should they choose to do so, may answer a few questions posed by the blogger who nominated them, nominate other blogs themselves and ask a few questions of their own nominees. 

Of course, if they choose not to accept the award, then they don’t need to do anything and just ignore.

Anyway, it seems like a good way of garnering new readers and checking out new blogs too.

Five Questions Answered From Naomi @ Rising Net Worth

1. All your work is caught up, you have a day off to yourself. What are you doing?

Putting my feet up and reading. Drinking lots of tea! If it’s hot and sunny, I’ll be reading in the garden. 

2. Name one thing that you normally wouldn’t do under normal circumstances but if the price was right you would do it in a heartbeat!

Get a pedicure, especially now it’s summer! I only tend to have one while I’m away on holiday (a lot cheaper!), I just can’t justify spending £40 on my feet!

3. If you had a chance to redo one of your biggest financial mishaps which one would it be?

I would not have applied for new credit cards when I was already maxed out on two existing cards. I would pay off those two cards.

4. You just won the lottery. Do you opt for the lump sum payout or do you choose the monthly disbursement for life? Why?

Lump sum to spend, invest and donate how I wish – I think a lump sum allows more control.

5. What’s your #1 rule when it comes to finances?

Pay off my credit card in full every month (this is from my experience of point 3)

  3. I love your answer to #2, I would have never thought of that but it's a total luxury that I'd love to have every week like some women do! Forget the manicure (I alway knick them to shreds within days) but to have some massage & pamper my feet would be divine! I'm glad you enjoyed this nomination, it was fun for me as well! Now, I'm off to follow the nominees that you've listed!

  4. Hi Naomi, same here – I'd love to have a regular pedicure but it's just a pure luxury that I can't justify! I'm with you re manicures, aside from making a mess of them within days, I have a habit of biting the nail part of my fingers when I'm thinking/reading, though not the nails themselves, so a total waste of time and money there! Thanks for stopping by!
